A Report on Christian Persecution in Africa and Antisemitism in Nigeria Presented to the U.S. Congress
I want this to go on record.
I submitted a report on antisemitism in Nigeria and Christian Persecution in Africa to The Sub Committee on African Affairs of The Congress of United States. The report was adopted by Congress. It’s vital to note that Nigeria specifically has experienced heightened persecution of Christians and it’s vital that The Church globally speaks out. It’s time to act.
Africa is now the theatre of henious and demonic slaughter of Christians where millions are in IDP camps and thousands are killed for their faith. Nigeria tops this list
I requested the Congress to petition The President of United States of America to consider reviewing America’s relationship with any African government that is aiding or abeiting the persecution of Christians.
Addressing Christian and Jewish persecution in Africa requires a multifaceted approach that combines diplomatic pressure, targeted aid that is matched to the respect of human rights, accountability mechanisms, and international cooperation. My report contains specific measures that the United States Congress could implement, as well as recommendations for engagement with the United Nations (UN) and African Union (AU), to address Christian persecution in countries where it is rampant and where governments are complicit:
Of key is to designate complict countries and governments as Countries of Particular Concern ( CPC) which comes with heavy sanctions.
