The Holy Consecration of Bishop Dennis Nthumbi to the Sacred Office of Bishop
Connecticut USA – 18.01.2025 – The International Gospel Helpers Church, in partnership with the African American Clergy Leaders Association, is honored to announce that the Holy Consecration to the Sacred Office of Bishop for Bishop Dennis Nthumbi has successfully taken place. This momentous occasion marks a new chapter of spiritual leadership and service, as Bishop Nthumbi steps into this sacred role with a divine mandate to shepherd and guide the faithful.
The consecration ceremony, held on 18.01.2025 at Shiloh Apostolic Church Connecticut, was a powerful and deeply moving event attended by esteemed clergy, dignitaries, church leaders, family, and members of the faith community. Presided over Apostle Glenda Phillips Lee IGHC/AACLA, Bishop Erell Skyers Shiloh Apostolic, ArchBishop Russell James Davenport Arrow of Yahweh, Apostle Leads Jean True Vine, Apostle Rubin Cruz True Vine, Secretary Pastor Alycia Brown Marcelin, Pastor Talya King, the service included prayers of consecration, the laying on of hands, and the conferral of episcopal vestments, symbolizing Bishop Nthumbi’s commitment to his holy calling.
The consecration signifies Bishop Nthumbi’s role as a spiritual leader not only within the International Gospel Helpers Church but also across global communities through the African American Clergy Leaders Association. His vision includes fostering unity among believers, empowering the underserved, and advancing the mission of the Gospel worldwide. For this Bishop Dennis Nthumbi also received the The “UPF Dr. Peace Award” awarded by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), which recognizes individuals and organizations making significant contributions to peace and human development, aligning with the concept of “One Family Under God” established by the organization’s founders, Rev. and Mrs. Sun Myung Moon; “Sunhak” being the name of their philosophy.
Bishop Dennis Nthumbi ordained Pastor Dandre J Brown as the IGHC Pastor USA and Elder Jhikoman Manyika as the music minister he comes from Tanzania.
